OOTN: Bollywood Theme Party

Sorry guys for MIA. My daughter is not well. Anyways here's a quick post on what I wore on a Bollywood Theme Party. It was my Chacha-Chachi's Anniversary and since the theme was Bollywood, we could wear anything, I guess!!

Anyways, I decided to wear this Jumpsuit with palazzo bottom. I just love this piece. Its got lace detail on the neckline and back. Also I quite love the animal print and black combination. I paired the jumpsuit with a pair of red wedges and red bow belt. Also I carried a simple black fan clutch with some lace details (SHOWN HERE).

Sorry about the picture quality.

Jumpsuit and Belt ~ Thrifted
Red Wedges ~ Catwalk
Fan Clutch ~ ForeverNew

NOTD: Free Hand Stairs Nail Art

I tried my hands on nail art after a long time and was really happy with the way it came out. But I am not so happy with the pictures because its really a pain to take pictures of your nails when you are a lefty. Also the glitter and top coat kept reflecting light. Anyways hope you all like it.

My Wedding Look with Maybelline InstaGlam Box Wedding Edition – Pink

You all must be knowing about the themed boxes, Maybelline comes up with, every now and then. This one is the Maybelline Insta Glam Box: Wedding Edition and comes in three colors ~ Red, Coral and Pink.

Mine is the pink one and the packaging looks like this.. I wish it was in hot pink instead but I am not complaining. The center part is magnetic. It consists of the following products.

The best thing about this box is you get seven products worth ₹2010 for just ₹1499. Isn't that awesome.

1. Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer in Feisty Fuchsia, 2. Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Polish Glam 9, 3. Maybelline Color Show Eye Liner in Ocean Blue, 4. Maybelline Colossal Kajal, 5. Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in Peachy Sweetie, 6. Maybelline Diamond Glow Eye Shadow in Wine Pink.

And here's the look that I created with all these products ( except the blue liner ). I also wanted to drape a Saree for this look but could not make it. Just managed to put on Earrings, Maang Tikka and a Bindi ofcourse :)

I think my MIL was thinking five years ahead when she got me these pretty Earrings with Ear Cuffs on my Engagement. I love love wearing them.

All in all , I loved the Maybelline InstaGlam Box Wedding Edition – Pink. I really liked all the products except for the Eyeshadow Palette which is quite an average. Pretty colors but not very pigmented. I wish they had included a lipstick as well in the box and  instead of the colored liner, there was a Black Liquid Eyeliner.

Hope you liked this look. Do let me know in the comments below.

My First Memebox: Superbox #14 Night Care

I got introduced to Memebox by Renu and without even realising I ended up ordering EIGHT, yes you heard it right, 8 memebox in just 2 days.

Memebox is a Korean beauty box that ships worldwide. All of their products are sourced, packaged, and shipped, directly from Korea. Regular shipping takes between 15 - 25 business days. Express shipping options are available as well, and take 3 - 7 business days.

It comes in a hot pink sturdy box which includes a card with details of all the products included. Unlike the regular subscription boxes, Memebox comes with full sized products and deluxe samples and comes in three kinds
  • Memebox (original)
  • Superbox
  • Luckybox
To know more about the boxes and place an order, CLICK HERE.

The Superbox is inspired by Memebox lovers, looking for full-sized products. Each Superbox series comes with it’s own theme, designed to target particular concerns.

The Memebox Superbox #14 ~ Night care costed me $39 + $7.99( Shipping & Handling ). I used 12 Meme Points = $12 which was there in my account and the total cost came down to $34.99 i.e. ₹2094 approx.

It had three full-sized products and two deluxe samples of Night Skincare Products.

1. PURE LABEL Waterdrop Sleeping Mask Pomegranate 120g (FULL SIZE)
It’s a facial treatment to address exhausted and dull skin that improves skin quality for a brighter and more luminous complexion. This overnight facial-in-a-bottle is a breakthrough in beauty sleep because it includes a moisturizing agent and stabilized vitamin E which shows instant results to reveal a brighter, more even-toned, and exceptionally radiant skin.

After your nighttime cleansing ritual, apply to the face and neck, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Do not rinse and attend to sleep.

The reason why I bought this box is, I really wanted to try out a sleeping mask and man I am not disappointed. It feels really light on my skin. Does not smell like Pomegranate but has this pleasant fruity fragrance. The interesting thing about this sleeping Mask is, it turns into water droplets when we massage it into the skin. Just pat it lightly and it gets absorbed.

2. SECRET KEY Angel Mist Wrap Steam Cream 80g ( Full Size)
This gentle formula supports nighttime renewal to retexturize and moisturize the skin, as it plumps the appearance of ne lines and evens skin tone. It contains vitamin A, vitamin E and other skin brightening agents that repairs skin overnight to reveal a well rested look. With regular use, skin becomes noticeably smoother, lines are visibly softened, and your rosy glow is restored.

Apply Angel Mist Wrap Steam Cream after cleansing your face and nishing your nighttime skin care regime. Apply liberally to face and neck and wherever else must be moisturized.

It felt slightly heavy but not oily when applied on the back of my hand. I think I am going to use it during winters. Ideal for dry skin.

3. DERMA HOUSE Micro Pearl Skin Scaling Cream 30g (sample)
Give yourself an at home facial with this Micro Pearl Skin Scaling Cream. Pearl powder and natural plant extracts in the formula will remove impurities and gently take away dead skin cells to clear clogged pores, even out and brighten skin tone to reveal a luminous complexion.

Apply on a wet face after cleansing. Gently massage into skin for two to ve minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Use once a week.

I haven't used this one but I am really excited to try it out. Its a sample size which will last me for quite sometime ( so impressed ).

4.CALMIA Silky Perfect Foot Peeling 20 (sample)
This silky foot peeling kit will soothe calloused and cracked feet, remove any unwanted odors and moisturize heels and cuticles to reveal soft and youthful feet.

Open the foot pack and pour contents into Calmia foot care socks. Place your feet into the Calmia foot care socks and apply the Calmia stickers around your ankles to keep your feet in place. Wait 1 hour to 1.5 hours and rinse your feet with lukewarm water. Use once every two weeks.
Tip: You can increase foot silkening bene ts if you wear spa socks over your Calmia foot care socks.

I am more than excited to try out this product but I had got a pedicure done recently. So will have to wait for sometime I guess. The reason why I love Korean Skincare Products is, it comes up with such bizarre things which actually works :)

5. BEAUSELLA Wrinkle Solution Placenta Eye Cream 40g (full size)
This advanced placenta treatment addresses signs of aging in the eye area, including inner corner creases, under eye wrinkles, crow's feet, lid creases, and undereye vertical lines as well as wrinkles in the mouth region. The Beausella Wrinkle solution Placenta Eye Cream’s signature ingredients prevent future wrinkles and repairs existing wrinkles.

Apply the Wrinkle Solution Placenta Eye Cream before you apply emulsion /moisturizer onto a cleansed face. Use your ring finger to lightly pat the eye cream into the eye area and mouth area to prevent wrinkles.

I am not sure if I want to apply Placenta Extract under my eyes. Also it contains paraben.

All in all, I am really satisfied with this Memebox Superbox and totally looking forward to trying most of the products. I have already received four more boxes and can't decide which one I am liking the most. Will definitely be posting about it in the upcoming post. Do let me know if you have ever ordered from them.

Inverted Eyeliner With Maybelline Colossal Kajal In Turquoise: Tutorial

When Maybelline sent me this new Colossal Kajal In Turquoise, I thought of trying something new out of it and ended up doing this simple Graphic Eyes Look which can be achieved in few simple steps. But before that here's what I feel about the product.

With a price tag of 250, Maybelline Colossal Kajal In Turquoise is quite affordable as compared to other colored liners. The packaging is similar to the black colossal with a little bit of turquoise jazz. It glides on easily and stays put until I remove it. Also, the kajal is very pigmented and you don't have to go on and on with it, The only downside is that, its a little soft and tends to break if pressed a bit harder.

Keep reading to see the full tutorial

Oriflame Beauty Nail Polish Remover: Review

Oriflame Beauty Nail Polish Remover
With moisturising and nourishing properties • Delicate almond scent • Acetone-free – not drying

My Experience
I had got this Oriflame Beauty Nail Polish Remover along with few other stuff from a friend of mine who is an Oriflame Consultant since the one I was previously using (Sally Hansen Strengthening Polish Remover) was quite a disappointment. I was not expecting much from this Remover as well but guess I was wrong.

Maybelline Glitter Mania, you all know, how hard it is to remove glitter nail paints and I could nowhere find my holy grail Lakme nail polish remover and thought of giving this one a try and man I was so impressed.
I took some remover in a cotton pad and wrapped it around each nails and waited for 2 minutes, rubbed a little and most of it was removed. I needed to rub one last time to remove it all. Don't expect the nail paint (glitter) to be removed at one go.

What I liked most about this nail polish remover is that it smells good and it does not dry out my nails like other removers does. It does feel a bit oily/sticky but that can be taken care of. I have tried few acetone-free nail paint removers in the past and none of them stood to my expectations but I really loved this one. Its a bit expensive though and like its said you cannot have it all.

Overall, I would definitely repurchase the Oriflame Beauty Nail Polish Remover. Its acetone-free, smells nice, does not dry out my nails, removes hardest-to-remove nail paints effectively.

  • Removes hardest-to-remove nail paints effectively.
  • Smells good.
  • Acetone free.
  • Does not dry out my nails.
  • Pricey.
  • Feels a bit oily/sticky.
  • Leaks a bit when kept horizontally so, is not travel-friendly.
  • Can be bought through a Oriflame Consultant only.

My Rating ♥♥♥♥

Oriflame Beauty Nail Polish Remover costs ₹329 for 75ml and can be bought from any Oriflame Consultant.
